Well it’s that time again and Valentine’s day is upon us one more time.
If you are in a relationship and have been married for a number of years -like I am- you probably will be taken out to dinner, and if lucky, maybe you will get a card. Or not…I will be going out to a fancy dinner but did not get a card, or a gift. But I did get roses…
If you are in the courting stage (and this is truly the best stage), then your suitor will probably go all out: dinner, a card and a small gift. The gift will probably be representative of how much he likes you, how long you’ve known each other and his budget. But don’t complain because you are getting all three!
If you are single, then you’re out of luck because this is probably just as bad as New Years. You probably feel it’s too commercial and that there is too much pressure to actually have a date. Your best bet is going out with your girlfriends on Valentine’s and living it up. That’s what I used to do. That will certainly help with your depression.
Now what types of gifts do we want for Valentine’s?
Well, who are we kidding? We girls love jewelry! A necklace, bracelet, earrings, a ring. Anything shiny!
A spa treatment is a close second! (or a massage).
A trip with you would be awesome. That would be like getting a prolonged gift.
But if you don;t get anything? Don’t fret! Splurge on yourself. It’s the day to do it
If you are
